Can you share your jewellery philosophy with us?
M: I believe in “design with heart, craft it with soul and focus on every detail”. Creating jewellery is a very delicate work as even a 1 mm deviation in any part can make a huge difference in the design.
What is the most treasured item in your personal jewellery collection?
M: It is a 106.9ct crystal opal with exceptional natural form and play-of-color, which I designed in 2014 and is currently being made by our jewellery master.
M: The ancient gold jewellery making techniques, like granulation and filigree inlaying.
M: Where artistic vision transpires, the imagination forever inspires. Through geometric expanses, patterns and palette, we have created a maze of abstract artistry - our latest high jewellery collection 2016 “Le Labyrinthe Artistique” is inspired by the great abstract artists like Piet Mondrian, Wassily Kandinsky, Josef Albers, Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder.
M: “Bespoke” is getting more popular with tiny jewellery being more desirable and has become a global trend because it can be easily mixed and matched to bring out its individuality in different styles.
What is the basic element in designing jewellery?
M: Keep the balance in the material, craftsmanship and creativity.
